A recent issue of the newsletter of MathWorks, the makers of MATLAB and Simulink, featured an article about CS 103: Introductory Programming for Engineers and Scientists. CS 103 is a popular course inside and outside of the School of Engineering because it uses MATLAB to introduce students to computer programming. ISIS researcher, Akos Ledeczi is one of the instructors and he also co-authored the textbook used in the class.
