Dr. Abhishek Dubey, a research scientist has joined the EECS department at Vanderbilt University as an assistant professor of computer science and computer engineering. Abhishek leads the SCOPE laboratory at ISIS. He specializes in computation platforms, fault-diagnostics and data analytics for dynamic and resilient cyber-physical systems of modern cities such as smart grid. His current research focuses on developing mechanisms and algorithms required to design and manage decentralized low latency, real-time applications distributed across a power system network. He is a senior member of IEEE and has published over 80 papers. Abhishek completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2009. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in August 2005 and completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, India in May 2001.
