1Google Research, India  | 2Vanderbilt University, USA  | 3HelpMum, Nigeria

Nigeria loses 2300 children under the age of 5 years daily. Lack of vaccination is a major concern, with only 23% of the children being fully vaccinated. ADVISER: AI Driven Vaccination Intervention Optimizer is a data-driven tool for optimizing the allocation of heterogenous health interventions under uncertainty. In collaboration with HelpMum, a non-profit agency working on maternal and child health in Nigeria, and Google Research, we designed a principled approach to match health interventions with beneficiaries for increasing vaccine uptake. The framework will be deployed to seven local governments in the largest city of West Africa later this year.
